Excellence In Service Transportation Company, LLC was organized on May 16, 2019.
 

Michael A. Golson Sr. is the owner and CEO of the company. Golson Sr. is retired 27-year law enforcement professional. Golson Sr. is a former police officer with the Birmingham Police Department and a former Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas Field with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
 

My mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. I was her periodic caretaker, and I would take her to her chemo appointments. I became familiar with some of the things
needed in that process. I had to have patience and pay attention to detail when transporting my mother. I treated her with kindness while keeping a caring attitude. I lived in Arlington, Tx and my mother lived in Birmingham, Alabama. Therefore, in my absence, my mother had to use the transportation provided by the Cancer Center. My mother did not have a good customer service experience with the transport company. She dealt with consistent tardiness, and she had to request help from the driver while entering and exiting the van with her walker.
 

I was told about opportunities in the non-emergency medical transportation industry by a friend. I was somewhat familiar with it, but I researched it and did what I needed to do to start the business. It is my belief that you must have compassion, and respect for others if you are going to be in the non-emergency medical transportation business. I treat my clients like I would like to be treated. I follow through with whatever I tell my clients that I am going to do. I do my best to be punctual and get them to their appointments on time. I treat my clients as if they are my family. I believe in old school customer service, and I will not provide anything less.
